To keep moving

I need these “abilities”

my to-do list to move

eliminate the phrase, “It is what it is.”  (That’s a good way to get stuck.)

be responsible

create a sustainable plan

be consistent

be disciplined

keep taking one step forward (even when there are 2 steps back)

have mental fortitude (courage in pain or adversity)

persevere, stubbornness if you will

find focus

grit your teeth determination

emotional strength

spiritual digging

listening prayers (God does the talking.  I do the listening.)

know my limits

set my boundaries

check in the rearview mirror for accomplishments

see long-term

eliminate the naysayers, at least their voices

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe,

who gives to us . . .

new life,

awakening trees,

buds and leaves gracing the empty branches,

tulips, lilacs, daffodils, hyacinths,

smells of spring,

sunny days,

warmth of the outdoors,

rain to water the grass,

green grass,

 an empty tomb,

a risen Savior,

new life,

God has created a beautiful world

and a beautiful life

for us to receive with thankful hearts!

Giving Thanks

We hear this question or see it on a sign.  We know what we are thankful for and can make a list.  We have probably made a list several times during this Thanksgiving season and yet—-

We might also need to ask —

and remember who we are thanking.

pray contiually;

A Joy Exercise

Are you looking for joy in your life?

This is a prescription for joy.

A joy exercise if you will.

The Lord has done great things for us!

He created the world.

He loves us.

He sent his son, Jesus to show us His great love!

He speaks to us even when we aren’t listening.

He gives us good gifts.

He walks with us in the good places and the bad places if we ask Him to.

God has done great things.

Our response should be joy.

Take time to remember and celebrate!

Are you filled up?

Thank Him too!
